You might want to take a gander on the anatomy, especially the character on the image right. Tube torsos are never in fashion.
You also seem confused about your shading, because it's absent in some places, and by simply shading one side and highlighting the other, you've created the impression of 'beveling'. That is, parts of the character look like 2d that's been made to pop up, rather than looking 3d, just like the bevel option in photoshop.
I'm also not too sure about the bright colours you've decided to use for the background. I'm no designer, but it looks more blinding than a window's start up screen. Might be better to use darker tones that won't potentially burn the eyes.
