Hi, I just found the perfect strategy for Elemental in Death Match. Here are the steps.
1) Set all miners to mine gold
2)immediately buy one fire, one air, two water, three earths, poison upgrade for scorpions, clone ability, miner hustle, and mass heal ability for the water unit.
3) =As soon as possible combine to make a treater and a V. You will have one earth left over for attacking. As soon as one of your miners finishes mining one round, then set him to pray.
4)as soon as the treature finishes spawning the scorpions(usually 3) then clone the V and attack.
5) As your small army collides with their unprepared army, you need to possess one of their units with the V. Here are the order of which units to possess for both chaos and Order.:
ORDER: Magikill, Giant, Shadowwrath, Meric,Spearton, Albowtross, Archer, Sword.
CHAOS:Medusa, Marrowki, Giant, Juggerknight, Dead, Eclipsor, Crawler.
6)Wreak havoc with the possessed units and try to do as much damage as you can with your possessed unit. As your doing step 5 and 6, buy more earths, waters, fires, and airs. Earths and Waters are the most important.
7) As soon as you opponent smartens up and tries to attack you V, Desert you small army and teleport out(usually, this won't happen because the Earths have the stun ability and the waters can freeze which makes it nearly impossible for them to target you V accurately with out spells). There will be a small group of scorpions, earths, and waters waiting for you.(this is why in step 6, u should macro units. If ur V is low health, use the water heal ability to mass heal everybody.
8)as soon as your previous attack dies out, you will have another small armada waiting to attack. Repeat steps 5-7. And mix it up by massing one of the elements, by getting another Treature, or by buying another upgrade to the clones, or by getting a castle air, the possibilities are endless!).
(Your opponent's army will weaken as you will continue to attack and the V will continue to escape. If your V does die, lay-off on the attacks temporarily and make another ASAP)
here are some records for u to study: So far, I have only lost once with this strategy(and it is only because of lag and glitches!)

I think speartons should be after archer, and juggerknight should be after crawler.

NO, the order of possession is left to right. Left most is first, rightmost is least. So for Order
1)Magikill
2)Giant
3)Shadowwrath
4)Meric
5)spearton
6)albowtross

But albowtross is more usefull than speartons, so you should prioritize albow before spearton

you want to win the ground war first, then get ranged units to finish off the weak albatrosses

Ofc take the air first dude =.=
Albowtross>spearton

Once you lost the control of the air force, you are screwed
thats why albowtross/wingtons mass are so powerful

And how do you respond if the opponent takes down your V with a ninja?

When the ninja get's close, then possess the ninja (you can possess cloaked ninjas). If you cannot possess them, then teleport out ASAP. And if the V does get killed then make another one ASAP. If your opponent is spamming tank units like speartons, ninjas, juggerknights, or reads then just counter by spamming a lot of water. The water will freeze all or most of the tank units and it leaves the rest to be killed by your army or possessed by the V.

Well, I don't really agree with some things. I think the order should be like this:
Ninja
Mage
Giant
Albow
Spear
Meric

Ninja is a bigger threat to your V than anything else. Hence posses that first, and use that to kill the Mage. Also, I think should be possessed first compared to spear. An air threat is more dangerous than a ground threat that can be resolved with ground units whilst air threats can only be sealed with ranged units.

Not to mention an albow is more expensive.
