Basically you go for a three swords start, though you should scout with your first sword to confirm the treature start. You'd be kind of screwed if they got an air.
After your first two miners finish their first batch of gold get a third miner. At this point the treature will be set up. Then spam swords until you have at least 5 swords. Attack the treature and ignore the scorpions, maybe one of your swords will die (maybe more if the other player micros the scorpians really well) but it will not matter. The treature will die and you end up with a larger army and better economy (if you take the tower). There is no need for rage. Also, this is simply a start that counters the treature start. Macro-wise this is a terrible idea, DO NOT USE IT FOR THE ENTIRE GAME. Afterwards I like to transition into sparcher with three or four shadows by end game.

This obviously doesn't work all the time, but I've seen it work in the 2.1ks (actually, the 2.1k went for a 4 swords start on GH), if you're any higher then it probably isn't a good idea. It works for me in the 1700s too.

In really short field, if they are smart, they ignore your swords and rape your miners. 3 of those things easily kill off miners.

It definitely sometimes works... but not nearly as well as you make it sound.

And only a noob player will let you take the center. Aka, any player with any sense will take center with the tree itself. and thus, you are doomed economically from the start...

3 swords? Nah dude. 2 swords 1 miner. With the first gold income you can afford another sword.

No, no, no what. Just what. 2.1ks use 4 sword starts on GH, and 3 sword starts on Short maps? Either you looked wrong, or they don't deserve to be 2.1k.

You go MSS, if you scout the Water/Tree, try to do as much damage to them so when they combine, some damage is already off. Rush their miners, then when you have say, 5 swords, rush the tree. GG.
