Quote from CruelSeriously what do you do for a living? You constantly post these extremely long and accurate posts on...everything. I would have guessed art is the section you wouldn't comment as much on, but of course you do!
Like how do you find that picture, post it, and write a long complicated criticism on the drawing, then still have time to run forum games and infract people!
Finding the picture took a mere 15 seconds once I was shown the way:

The rest is just common sense. I merely said what I felt in all honesty, and even if it was wrong, I would have allowed to be called out on it. The true nature of cnc is not just to see and let the creator improve, but to open a line of communication between the artist and its peers. You don't just fucking say "huh. that's pretty good." and call it a day. Because that's nothing for the artist. Wtf is he going to do with that? Both of you learn nothing and the only people who will profit are the ones who want to be praised. This is why alot of people posts short crappy anims or 'tests' around here. Because they think that anything just grants them instant gratification.
I wish I knew how to animate. Because I would have a lot to say on that as well. But alas, this is the best I can do for the community. Writing. And Art.
The fact that you're amazed that I had so much to say just proves how shitty this place is in terms of interaction. There are a few heroes here and there like Lobotomizer and Drone and my forte has always been in the literary but in the end this place will be nothing more than a den of circlejerkers who don't know any better. I don't know why it's so hard for people to thoroughly explain why something they think is at a certain way.
And as to your question about forum games, I type them up and plan them ahead of time, making sure that there is equal effort on the side of the players, so that it doesn't leave me with just pulling the strings. My style of forum game hosting appears effortless because I'm actually sharing the load. Once again, I am opening a line of communication between the users and the artist/host. People don't just play my games because they like it. They like me running it and they like me as well.
