How do you kite

Well, with archidons, the best way to kite is the "G kite."
To do that, you send an archidon back by pressing the g hotkey to garrison, then you select it and move backwards, then wait for the reload animation to complete (THAT ONE IS VERY IMPORTANT), then you press G again. Rinse and repeat with as many archers as you have. Works essentially the same way with albows and eclipsors, but the timings a bit different.

Well, then, how do you kite forwards?

click on the ground ahead of you usually just before the enemy waiting till you're closer than you'd probably feel comfortable.
click on the enemy to fire an arrow when the opponent runs away.
click on the ground to move your archer foward still waiting for the animation to complete the arrow load. click on the enemy again.
repeat until dead or out of range.

Kiting works the same for any unit (given they have the ability to kite). Archidons, eclipsors, fires, and albowtross have this ability down. I advise against doing it with giants, they're slow but often stand still when attempting to attack after switching targets.
