So i have made my RHG but now im running into a problem of him not being very fun to animate. It seems like if im going to make an RHG its either fun to animate, or Original and im not sure which one is better to go with. I feel like im loosing either way. Im not really sure how anyone could help me with this problem but i thought this would be the best place to see.

Lol thats one of those unique guys that would bore me to animate. The stuff i like are things like super over kill finishing moves and nova blasts. Which is one of the most common types of RHG there is XD

It's more important to have an RHG you enjoy animating than one that's original. There's nothing wrong with new ideas, but make sure you're still able to work with them easily.

I have an awesome idea: Metal manipulation. You see people with fire, ice, rock, air, and one with sand, but never metal manipulation! And it's not that hard to animate(I think)!

I had the same problem with mine to tell the truth. Mine was just a guy with a gun, so i'm just changing my RHG's weapon, not actually the entire weapon.

How about you make an ability that doesn't revolve around the offensive. Like maybe a ability that acts more defensively than offensively. Something like... summoning reflective glass shards that bounces back attacks.

In my opinion, ability to animate will always outweigh originality. Nobody would give a fuck if your RHG is unoriginal. As long as you animate it well.

So true. That's why he has to choose something that he finds funny to animate :D
