Alright gang. Wave 2 is coming around. This wave is going to slow things down a bit since we have GTL going on as well and I don't want people to be distracted. Wave two will last until 19-April-2014. That's two weeks.
Wave two statistics:
Attacking: Every clan!
4x Bandits- http://filz.us/2bC4 Red eyes, black figure. The bandits are very comfortable with hand to hand combat. They will use any weapons they can get their hands on to give them the upper hand in combat.
2x Marauders- http://filz.us/2c67 Blue eyes, black figure, wields a club. Deals a ton of damage but they are slower than the average Bandit. They are more resilient than the average bandit.
(These are templates for the characters. The Marauder must use the club. You do not have to use these templates but I do have to be able to distinguish the two).

Reward: 500g, 400 lumber, 200 iron, 100 ruby, 100 jade, 100 sapphire.

In the next two weeks I'm going to try to work on the enemy and item catalogs. I'm going to manufacture some hidden recipes for certain items that can be constructed. Once a clan discovers the recipe to make an item, anyone can craft it. Until it is discovered, the item will remain a secret from you all. These items can be used during waves and during clan wars!

If we finish wave 1 since we failed to defend, do we get the rewards of wave 1 or none at all until we clear wave 2? (And just get the wave 2 rewards)
Also, i know that we have to finish wave 1 to get to wave 2 btw, so i had 2 of my members do that.

If we are not on the map yet do we still animate defending ourselves against these bandits? Do we all animate on different FLA files? Or we use resources we have to defend ourselves?

If you're waiting to be added to the map then yes that's fine. There's two weeks to complete this wave. You can make the animation however you please in terms of who animates what. You can have one person do it or have each person fight an enemy out of the wave. The animation or animation's must add up to the wave requirements in order to be successful. You also have to animate wave 1 before wave 2 will be counted for your clan.

Has wave 1's timelimit already passed? Or is this event strictly a subjective 2-step deal? (like it doesnt matter if wave 1 has happened for everyone else, if you havent reacted to it, it hasn't happened yet and you cant therefore ever do wave 2)

Like you said. In order to get to wave 2, wave 1 has to be completed for by the clan that is trying to complete wave 2.
My plan is that whoever finishes the 20th wave first receives a special reward that no one else will get.

I might end up shortening it a bit since GTL is going on atm.

Yeah but I'm asking, for the clans that never made it from wave 1, are they out of this event in its entirety because they can't get to wave 2 onwards and just suffer the resource loss of wave 1? Or is this something that they can do at their own pace as long as they do it in order, until the event ends?

I am asking for the sake of Majicross, who seems to be in a very confused rut right now. They don't know what wave should they do since they did neither. From the way you wrote wave 1, it just looked like it had no deadline, but wave 2 onwards has deadlines?

For those who haven't finished Wave 1, they're still stuck at that wave until completion. They can't do Wave 2 until Wave 1 is done (meaning all or some have to turn in their entries in order to advance to the next wave. Since they didn't complete the first wave, they lose their resources, those who were targeted lost a lot more. To prevent this, they must step their game up and finish the waves to avoid losing any more resources.

Wave 1 had a due date (which was one week), and now that Wave 2 is out, Wave 1 is still in need of completion. Once Wave 1 is done, they can do Wave 2, but they have to hurry before the deadline is reached.
