View Profile Those are pretty good weapons that you have made A.R., but next time when your going to make some weapons, try to add some more details to make it decent.

View Profile The shapes themselves are pretty decent, although some of their proportions are off, but the weapons could use tons more details, they're too simple, too plain. By details, the best way to describe this would be to give you an example. Lets start with your Heaven Sword, the shape itself isn't too attractive, you could modify it a bit, still retaining a broad-sword design, but differing its handle and handguard. The handguard should not just be one rectangle. It should be something that looks like an actual weapon handguard. (the handguard is the thing above the handle) You could google some pictures of swords or other weapons and use them as reference. DON'T TRACE. Just study them and imitate their shape in flash without tracing.
For the actual details, you could add some sort of runes to the blade of the sword. Also a good trick would be to just create shapes into the contour of the weapon, such as a rectangular shape onto the blade with a few triangles there and use the color settings to the upper right of flash to change the shade of blue into a darker/lighter shade. They don't even have to be gradients!
Ask me anything you didn't understand.
Good luck! :D

View Profile Word of advice: Do not use basic colours on weapons. Ever.
That's one of the biggest issues for anyone new to making weapons in Flash, and never looks appealing. Fiddle around the colour mixer and use a more custom, darker as duller palette choice. This draws attention away from the weapon, and makes it easier on the eyes to look at.
The shapes are poorly done, mainly simple geometric blocks for the shape. A dynamic shape will always be more appealing than a basic, blocky shape in martial arts weapons. Also, if you're going to use gradients, don't overdo it and make the weapon way too shiny. An important thing in any weapon is the ability to recognise the materials to give people a better understanding of the weapon itself.
A lot of these are common mistakes, and most people do fix them overtime with practice.
