I liked the co-op idea. I didn't see the vid, but I heard about them talking about it in the aftertalk. You find the player's orb portal thing whatever, then they can join your game or something like that.
Something they joked about was if they could mess up your game, like sleeping with your wife, breaking your stuff, killing your family, etc.

Seems easier rather than more confusing to me.
However, I see so much untapped potential. I still say that your avatar should be able to walk around the pannels, or make each pannel into separate rooms. Theres so many ideas that I've had for a new dashboard. I'll make a thread for it, complete with illustrations.
All things said, your idea isn't that brilliant.
But go ahead and do what you want.
