Use sparcher with emphasis on the speartons. The start will vary depending on how the other player plays and the map type. If they start off with treacher then the game should be pretty easy, just spam swords.

Treaturemass? Surrender.

The only liable method is turtling really effing hard on a map like gh. and pulling out max army of albowtross (literally using 70 pop at the least) or pulling 3 wizards with 3-4 merics and a crap load of spears.

Try to stop treature mass before it happens. Otherwise, there's not easy way out.

For tree spammers, the lag factor of EE makes it especially ridiculously unfair. But one strat I like is, in DM, using ninjas, merics, and magikill.

Treat the ninjas like spears... line them up in front of a wall, with CA support, merics behind the wall, and magikill back. If you see a v, take some ninjas and kill it ASAP.

As the scorps mass at the ninjas, a single electric wall melts them like butter. Get a mixed army of 3 mercis, 4 magikill, and the rest ninjas... once you have enough ninjas, you can attack, focus everything on the trees... you will lose a magikill or two, but if the trees are all massed, you should be able to take them all down, take center, and then finish them... if you survive long enough to do it.

Speartons? They're the worst against Elementals.

In short map, try to stop elemental player from massing trees. Once they finish the mass, surrender
But in the beginning, if they only have 1-2 trees, swords and ninjas are effective to kill the trees

In long map, it is much easier to counter tree mass. Many ways are viable, including albow mass, ninja mass, or Giant + ninja + magkill

They're just not as cost effective as sw. They're fine unless your opponent is massing water and air, and seriously, why would you do that to begin with?

They also die way too fast to trees. I think shadowrath are more effective because they tech much better against Vs, they don't die from waters (shinobi), a couple of them has a stopping power to take out a tree, and so on. You don't get that same power in a prolonged battle with spears, tree mass takes the cake for attrition wars.

Why is there still discussion in this thread.

If the player is treature massing correctly (and it's not difficult), there is squat options unless you're at grass hills.

That. Is. All. Less tree talk please, more talk about... not trees. Screw trees.
