I say yes. And for this poll, screamo, deathcore and metalcore do NOT count. :|

Omg post industrial avant funk-gaze

No but metal is aight depending on what form of it you listen too. All those fucking wannabe edgy "pig rot fuck carcus" bands are hilarious, those post hardcore bands that seem too all have similar names are pretty shit as well. On the other hand stuff like qotsa isn't too bad.

Smile, I see you like the band Chvrches.

And Mitch, Carcass* is a band. What subgenre are you talking about? Death metal?

I'm not too big on metal nowadays.

I used to like those crappy botdf-esque bands when I was 12. I actually thought those scene emo fucks were cool.

I'd love to hear some albums if anyone wants to recommend.

Yeah dude I know :D I like Cannibal Corpse a lot though.

Smile, I used to feel the same way about them. But I never really liked BOTDF. Every time I say that my friends start crying about it. Every time I say I don't like screamo, deathcore, metalcore or My Chemical Romance or Jeffree Star, they all get butthurt. But whatever.

And what type of albums do you mean?

To be honest this was the kinda stuff that came to mind when I thought of bad stuff, but to each their own.

I don't usually listen to metal too much, but when I do, it's almost always DragonForce. There's something about power metal that I love. The stuff on their Inhuman Rampage album around a decade ago's my favorite.

NWOBHM has always been my favourite when it comes to metal. But I like some power metal bands, a little death metal and a few avant-garde metal bands.

Yeah, who hasn't? Did you know Disturbed, In Flames, Mudvayne, Slipknot, A Perfect Circle, Linkin Park, Rage Against the Machine, etc. are under the same category?

I think it's cool, but I'm more into the more agressive/brutal stuff. Black metal, death metal... stuff like that. But I listen to all metal.

Not really a fan of Dragonforce though...
