So you see the pros animations, and they have sound quality that sounds crispy and clear... then you play your animation, and it sounds like it was recorded with a potato.

How To Fix Bad Sound Quality In Flash

To fix this simply do this in Flash(8 to CS5) -

Go to
> 'File'
> 'Publish Settings'
> 'Flash' Tab

Click on 'Set'(do this for both of them) set the rate to 80 kbps.(Of course you can set this rate higher or lower depending on how much quality you want but take caution because it will make your fla size and swf size increase a lot.)


All done !
For now you will need to do this every animation... you can save this as a preset and make it default but thats a whole other tutorial.

How To Stop Sound From Continuosly Playing In Flash

Why does my sound keep playing when I preview my animation within flash?
This is quite an easy fix but it can be very annoying for some to have their sound do this.
Fix:

Simply select the frame that your sound is on and open the properties tab and change the Sync mode to 'Stream' as you see in the screenshot. You won't have to do this again.

You just gotta set the sound quality at 128kps or 160kbps.
