View Profile I think the best way to improve your art is to work on each aspective detail separately until you properly use it naturally without too much effort.
So my suggestion is to start working on lighting/shading. Certain pieces (like the columns on Old Balcony) are clearly a dark object onto a flat light object. And the shadows really pull away from the great work you've done here. I'm sure you've already noticed the irregular shadow of the box on Death Inside. The colors in Purple Forest are unnatural (although so is a purple forest). I understand the shades of purple based on the angle of each blade of grass and leaf. But if you were to ever look at an open field being affected by the wind, you'd see the colors smoothly blend with each other in streams and the inside of trees being darkened from density of leaves.

I guess It's okay in view it"s a personal work, But are you sure this is what you wanna do ? cause you know the quality of the background is higher than stick figures, people may Pay more attention to the BG than the animation it self; and how you see the BG includes Some birds, Having them static when there is an animation going won't be the best thing to do, if all this stuff are fine with you then I guess It'll be okay !

View Profile I like the lake thing, not really an expert on landscapes myself, but I do believe that the tree in the lake whateverthing is casting a shadow on the water opposite of the light source

another thing then
pretty sure we shouldn't see that reflection, as it overlaps with the reflection of the trees on the other side, and I don't think that should be possible
