I'm going to try and enter, but I'm wondering how the winner will be contacted and how they will receive their prize. I'd be grateful if my question is answered! I'm also wondering how to send in our video, whether by attaching our file, using Youtube, or some other method. (If we are to send it in as a file, does its compression format (mp4, mov, avi, etc.) matter?)

Youtube, for sure, because YT is the most popular, and it's easy. Simple and fast. I'm not sure if you want to send files. But I recommended to use .avi

.wmv believe it or not, uploads the fastest/most efficient to youtube. Just some advice if you're having trouble uploading something to 1080p or something. While, it won't be AS good as quality for the source video (maybe like, 5-10% less quality, depending on how you made it), it should more than make up for it in youtube quality, in my experience at least.

You are right, AVI is larger files, but if you want to win this montage choose "AVI" the quality is best of best.
That's why I helped him, upload doesn't matter it's quality of project.
Quality is the best choices, if your quality is low, it's bad.
I don't know why you guys want to upload faster, it'll end in 29, today is 17. So I've a lot of times :D

AVI is the highest quality, and allows for uncompressed (full frame) transport of DV material making it the best choice of any videographer who wants to maintain the highest quality possible when editing SD material.

Thanks for update, please note that it's montage, I've watch some videos like battlefield it's in gameplay, and some video use trailer, so I've use trailer and gameplay to make it more challenge and harder, but thanks..
