Good example of a bad animation?

They're trying to teach you the steps in animation so your animations don't look bad. It's late, so I don't feel like explaining what they already said, basically, go to www.darkdemon.org you'll find tutorials there they WILL help you if you do EXACTLY what they say. Don't just assume you know what they're talking about, If they have pictures of every frame, copy them as best as you can.

You probably already know, but www.droidz.org has stick figures.
Edit: lol leo, you need easing to have physics dumb dumb =]

Okay, try this. Instead of making fancy fight scenes, jst make a smple ball, and move it across the screen, as smooth as you can. Then post the result.

100th post baby
from what ive seen you probably think you need to watch only one tut.
You know your anims are stiff and choppy. So why dont you watch every tut you can find and then put an anim together.

That's a much better improvment. With a little more frames, making it soomther, and a lot more easing that could be awesome. It's good just to do the basics. Don't jump ahead of yourself - it's only going to make yourself upset you can't do something.

Just keep on practicing:Smile:

There. Just one I made quickly now. Nice and short, and shows how to use physics and easing properly. Perhaps not the best example for smoothness, maybe because it's only 31 frames, but it might help.

With easing i dont get it, When i make it slower then faster it slows down then get really choppy then goes slow again. Like i just need a person to really give me the absolute best try to explain it cause all this |---|-----|--|---| dosnt make sense to me >_<

Confusing at the beginning, I know. Alright, first off, this:

|-|--|---|----|---|--|-| is probably the most important thing to get your head around easing. If you understand it, you understand how to ease ^^

Alright, I'll explain it to ya. Each ( - ) piece is the space between each segment of whatever stick you are using. ( | ) This is the actual stick. Now, what it means is that over the frames the space should gradually get larger, then, when at full speed, get smaller again until it has stopped.

You get that, you get easing.
