as long as is it isn't a old animation, it was fine. his WIP is something he's working on at this moment, thus demonstrating his current skill of animation. At least this is how i see it. Might need spectre to get his arse down here to explain it in a better fashion.

Then why weren't all my very recent and relevant animations valid when I submitted them? I'm confused because I also submitted a WIP plus animations I had completed about a few days before.

this was answered on irc, putting it here for any others who need to know this:

the tryout rules said that there should be at least a 7 sec animatrion
i believe the 7 sec counts only the actual animation not the huge intro you have
I guess you could've had the WIP as your tryout, but i doubt it would've been scored pretty well becaseu of the lack of actual animation
your actual tryout was better IMO

I'm aware. In that case why not just use my RHG Demo as my tryout? It is very relevant to my skill and very current. But thanks you did answer my question.

Atomicapple isn't just submitting a random animation that he stopped working on, he's posting something that he is currently working on. This shows his current skill level. Xeno, your recent might've been recent, but they weren't something that had been made during the time the tryouts were open. We had no way of seeing how old they actually were.

Losing motivation to even finish this tryout. Plus i got a new pc and all the settings are screwed up so i lost a day for two on that.

chill. You got a while. Plus, the tryout doesn't need to be amazing. Just a 7 second long anim at the shortest, but I'm sure you're already got that. I fyou really don't want to finish the entire animation, just finish it up halfway through.

No problem, we got 14 days left for tryouts! Even if your animation isn't finished by the due date, you can still give us the unfinished one. We will still vote on it!

Even if i do get in this clan i have to leave to China for most of summer vocation. I might not be able to animate or post much there. Im unsure whether i tryout due to this. I dont want to join this clan and be inactive. I won't mind if you don't accept me due to this.
