The moves:
Punch - uppercut - kick - punch (2) - slash
(list that up so it's easier for me to comment)
The first part, standing pose. Isn't that imbalance?
You need to think about this with physics. That is the center of gravity. That means... something. I'm not your physics teacher. I mean, try to stand like that. Can you balance yourself while you do that? Maybe. But you know that no one stands like that. You need to make him to stand like this green guy.
(I just realized that I made a Shock refrence)
Those two punches, punch and uppercut, it's good. But if you wanna make that guy as a professional fighter, the punches need to be slightly quicker.
The kick part. You should ask yourself how the masters at a martial art kicks. Is that how they kick? They need to spin, go down to grab the ground and then kick?
The way he holds the sword. You don't hold your sword like that. You don't hold the sword (with your hand of course :3) then put your hand on the middle of the torso - in between the shoulder and your waist. You put it like this green guy again...
Before I'm going to try to comment this. I wanna explain what is motion blur. When you see stuff going fast, let's say a guy swings a sword, you'll see that blurry stuff on the sword. That's the motion blur.
The speed of the way he swings the sword is slightly slower. But it depends on how fast that guy is. But I know you wanna make him, like, so professional because he is your RHG. :3
And about the motion blur effect, don't use that kind of motion blur. Because it doesn't feel like blurry. Use this kind of motion blur. (this is also an example of easing and applying speed on an object)
I really hope this would help you. Okay, back to work.
