Yes, I use Tisfat, but just for animating the sticks. This effects were made in particle illusion, it's pretty easy to use, there are a bunch of libraries and you can modify the emitters with different shapes.

Personally, I feel that these particles kind of stand out in a way, maybe because they're moving in a horizontal manner. How would it look like if those were to emerge in a 'U' shaped way from the stickman's palms?
All the other effects were amazing!

Digging it man. Some of the VFX moved in strange patterns, which is all I really have to say about that in terms of flaws. They look realistic, and nice. Just a bit strange in the way they move and there general positions.
