so i have been told that i lack the basics. this "fun with a pencil" was recommended to me so i gave it a try. only spent a min or so on each face/pose, and i didnt want to post like 6 pics so i just slapped them all on 2 pages. i know this look like chicken scratch but was going for getting the proportions right... some i think went well.

You're getting there, I know you want to start complex poses at the start but start with the bare basics untill you get good with them

Wow. You're much farther along than I am in terms of drawings like these. I have can't really offer any advice here, except that putting your drawings into a big collage makes them confusing to look at and harder to critique IMO. Try organizing them better or numbering them or something.
