Through about 3 days of watching tutorials, immense help from Hyun's tuts, Nhazul's tut, studying movements and CRTL+Z-ing over and over, from a first time user, I have produced something that is at least worth not spitting on.

I used to use Blender as you can see from my RHG's demo, but I lost all my files in a crash. So I'm starting new. CnC would be nice for my level.

Also how can I get the punch to look better? Maybe more frames?

Wow, first time? I always get surprised when I read the title : "First Time Flash", and I see something this good. I mean, there is still a lot of work in front of you, but this is much better then my first animation... Than again... I didn't really watch tutorials :D, but I find this pretty good. Okay, so let's get technical, you can use the free transform tool after the punch to skew him a little to seem he moved a little and not stood in place after he punched. The V-Cam worked nice, I like it, but the stickman construction of its own needs to be worked on more. Also, the gravity of him punching and than falling the way he did was a little messy. But for a first time... I am impressed :D

You surely need to work on stick construction and flow. You should have made some more kicks, punches inbetween those hits, 'cause it just doesn't look great, feels like something is missing. Although it's pretty good for a first animation. You should go and watch once more these tutorials, get some .flas and study them frame by frame, try to remake it without looking at it, or just once in a while, try some different styles, try using line tool. Good luck.

Cool, thanks dudez. With the construction, I think limbs/body/overall needs to be longer and not so compact. I know have much to learn and am studying movements/overall look to help. Thanks
