That may well be better actually. On reflection, different requests would come up for each different section so it would make sense that they be seperated for ease of access.

How about taking the flash/pivot/easytoon beginner threads and turning them into their own subsections, in the flash/pivot/easytoon section? As it is, it's hard for us beginners (yes, we do exist, mythical though we may seem) to actually get criticism, as two posts later, no-one actually bothers to look at previous posts, even if nothing relevant has been said in said two posts. the subsection would keep us out of the main section, yet still have individual threads so maybe, just maybe, we can get some constructive criticism and actually improve.

It's hard now. It would be impossible if the sections were separate. No one except beginners would ever go into the beginners section (see dd for examples) and that means you never get cc from a better animator than you so you can't really improve. As it is it's just another thread in the main section so people can click on them easily.
