Name: L.L (aka Lock and Load) Bust
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Species: Cyborg from Mechanus
He is covered in bandages to hide his p
atchwork. He replaces the bandages often, so they’re usually always white, though susceptible to dust, dirt, and other staining grimes. His face is covered by bandages, but he can still hear and smell. The only visible part of his face is the scope screen embedded around his left eye. It’s rectangular and has a green screen, with a border of silver, and a red cross that tracks his targets, that will open up and box the target when locked on. The vision can go to night vision, x-ray, heat, and heart beat tracking. The optic scope can zoom to x4, x8, x16, and x32. Bandages cover his right eye, but if examined closely, one could see a faint red glow coming from the bandage patch. He covers his right eye because he doesn't want people to know where he's staring as the scoping screen hides his gazes while his right eye still moves like a normal one. He can see through the bandages so his depth perception is fine.
He is 4'11”, the metal in his bones and on his body stunting his growth, making him retain the size of his 14 year old self, and he is 250 lbs. His giant gun is strapped diagonally on his back, wrapped in chains. The gun is 5’ long, and drags on the floor slightly as he walks. He wears a red bandanna around his mouth and a black ragged beanie on his head, his light brown hair poking out randomly.
His left shoulder has an armored cap stapled onto it, connecting a syringe tap to his flesh. Bust doesn’t eat, but instead injects supplements into his arm. His other arm is covered in a sort of medieval style armor that goes from his hand to his shoulder. The armor is silver and not very bulky, mainly chain mail with patches of steel, with the gauntlet made of leather to enable easy shooting. The shoulder has a few small spikes, but just ornamental.
He wears black jeans that has a silver chain design that wraps down one leg, the other is shredded at the ankles, and he wears black leather boots, metal studs all over them.
His body (this includes his arms and legs, even the right) is covered in plates that are either exterior or interior, his bandages even it all out so he looks normal if slightly buff. The exterior plates cover his burned skin while the interior plates exposed the less damaged skin. The plates are capable of withstanding most weapon and gunshots. His chest and upper back has interior and exterior plates, preventing any strikes to get through to the heart.
He has a leather pouch strapped to his side that sits next to the bottles. Inside contains his wallet, supplement syringes, and other everyday things.
Underneath the bandages, L.L is somewha
t of a pale mess. His body seems seamless when he wears his bandages and it's all apparent if they're ripped off. He has exterior plates where his body was too damaged by the fire, and then interior plates underneath his skin that causes it to bulge up, fitting between the exterior plates. Something evident all over his body except his head.
The flesh has practically all but melted off his face from the heat and flames. His two eyes that had become white milky orbs were both switched for robotic metal eyes that pupils are red lights. One is fit with the optic scoping screen. His jaw is wired shut and he is devoid of lips, tongue, and some of his teeth had fallen out, he also has no ears or nose. The holes in his cheek are filled in with metal plates to give his skull when wrapped up a healthy still-human look. His hair is a toupee, his hair having fallen out during the fire, this toupee of spiky light brown hair is grafted to his skull. Cleaning takes hours as he must treat each part carefully and delicately to ensure peak performance from each.

His voice is robotic. He shows no emoti
ons, but he does his bounty hunting job with relish. He enjoys destroying things and gunfights. He is good at thinking on his feet, being that the heat of battle is what he craves. He doesn’t make plans before battles, and he learns as he goes. So the longer battles go on, the better he gets. He smokes when he can, slipping in cigarettes or cigars through a small hole in his bandana. His cheeks have metal plates grafted in them that have horizontal slits across the middle, so when he blows the smoke, it exits through the slits. He tries to stay calm, his cockiness and pretentiousness from being the famous prodigy inventor having worn off as he continued being a bounty hunter. He enjoys the company of others, and doesn’t like annoying people, or those who can’t stand cigarette smoke.
Although he is 18, he still longs for a family. Losing his before he can even remember their faces and the solitary life of being a bounty hunter had eaten away at him.
Is the 5’ long, and 2' wide cannon L.
L Bust has strapped on his back that used to belong to his old battle bot Howitzer. Its design relates to a cannon that would’ve been found on a pirate ship, and the charges would be loaded by opening the back, sliding one out and popping the other one in; similar to how one would load a pirate ship cannon. A grip similar to a pistol is integrated to the side of the cannon, 2’6” if measured from the back. The handle is a foot and a half long.
The cannon itself is a shiny black and the rings around it are designed as gear heads. The one at the mouth has a front sight the resembles the same teeth as the rest of the gears, and it has a tooth that mirrors it on the bottom, the second has 4 forming an X, the third has 8 the teeth showing in between the 4, the fourth has 16 teeth showing in between the 8, and the last ring has 32 teeth showing in between the 16. Each ring is a foot away from each other. The teeth aren't very long, only about 6 inches each. When he takes Blunderbuss off his back he wraps the chains around his chest.
He has multiple charges to use, charges are tubular packs that manifest ammunition for Blunderbuss. The first fires cannon balls, the second buckshot (similar to shot gun rounds), the third flames, the fourth ice (both are shot in the style of a flamethrower, so spray), the fifth fires lasers, and the sixth manifests explosive missiles. Each size of the gun, which are three, pistol, original, and turret form (size so big that it can’t be held, but has to be placed on the floor), uses each charge similarly, but some are unable to use some of the charges. He cannot fire any of the charges in a rapid fire fashion, the buckshot and bullet are the fastest, reloading at the rate of a semi-automatic pistol, the flame and ice charge fires for 5 seconds but then require a cool down of 5 seconds, and the laser and missile charge require 3 seconds charging before they fire and cool down for 5 seconds, but they make up for their lack of RPM with having the most fire power among the charges. Besides changing charges, L.L has no need to reload. Though the gun size may change, the charges do not, so when in turret mode, the space to fit the charge in the back will still be the same size as pistol mode. Thanks to his mechanical body, he can take the recoil of all his guns. His charges are indestructible, he carries the charges in a pouch below his metal cap stapled to his left arm.
The pistol form is the same size as a D
esert Eagle, and the grip is closer to the back, it also shrinks. It cannot use any form except for laser and cannon ball. This is the only form where during laser mode, L.L has the chance to swing Blunderbuss to “slash” at his opponent.
The 5’ long, 2’ wide cannon can fir
e all rounds, the cool down for the buckshot and bullet are doubled. It's firing posistion is one of a bazooka, so it is propped on his shoulder, the trigger usually underneath, gripped with his right hand, and with his left arm up on top to stabilize the cannon.
This massive cannon that is 8’ long a
nd 5' wide cannot use the buckshot charge, being that the bullets would ricochet around the barrel before exiting, nullifying their effectiveness. When in turret mode, the grip becomes two handles on the back where he could then drag the cannon around by. The trigger are on both handles but he just needs to pull one to fire. He cannot see in front of him in this form so he aims before he changes, and of course can use any of his scoping screen utilities to help after that. This form takes the longest time to fire being that each shot is so massive, so the cool down for every attack is quintupled, and charging for the laser and missile charge takes triple the amount of time, making the turret mode more of a finisher. The number of rings do not increase, they just spread out.
Each charge is color coded for his conv
enience. Each are a bronze tube with rubber ends, a colored line stripes the tube.
Cannonball=Black stripes
Buckshot=Gray stripes
Fire=Red stripes
Ice=Blue stripes
Laser=Purple stripes
Rocket=Green stripes
Each form can be used in a melee fashion, the pistol as simple pummel striking or smacking, the original as a sort of mace, and in the turret form, he can drag and spin it.
He has bottles hooked around his belt, 4 at all times, 2 are filled with a volatile liquid that combusts to flames and the other is filled with highly dangerous acid. The acid is capable of eating through metal in seconds, and is very dangerous to flesh, burning and eating the flesh, even capable of melting bone if exposed for too long. The glass is extremely hard to break, he has to open them to get to the contents.
He is completely weapon dependent, take
that away and you win. He is vulnerable to very bright light being that his only source of vision is a camera. He is a cyborg so he has emotions and is susceptible to rashness. He is scared of fire because of his near death experience. He is made of metal, but he has a battery that allows him to not be completely destroyed by electricity, but it still paralyzes him more severely than most. He can’t swim, he’ll sink like a rock. Though he has armor, blunt weapons deal major damage, and a sharp enough blade can still do damage. His head has no armor, except around the neck and the armor lining within his beanie. The metal in his cheeks are too thin to block anything. His bones are a mixture of metal and calcium so are more durable than most. Thanks to his robotic replacements, he has more stamina and durability than others, but he cannot jump higher, run faster, or hit harder than other people.
Mechanus was a peaceful city where peop
le flexed their abilities to create robots that accomplished everyday tasks, making life in the city more comfortable and less strenuous. L.L Bust was a 14 year-old prodigy inventor, but the simple life disturbed him. He was always one to take everything with a pinch of salt rather than the handful of sugar everyone else was dumping onto their life. He began making a battle bot, and he nicknamed his creation Howitzer. The creation of anything for violence and that didn’t benefit the population was illegal. The only ones allowed to own battle bots were the cops and the royal family, but L.L didn’t care.
The ruler of Mechanus however heard of the creation of an illegal robot and sent his guards and his own battle bots to arrest Bust and Howitzer. Bust activated Howitzer as the cops came and the two forces clashed. Sadly his robot wasn’t strong enough to hold off the enemies and Bust’s lab was set ablaze with him and Howitzer still in it. Even though not created for it, Howitzer rolled over to his master and covered him with its massive steel frame, saving Bust’s life. But at a cost, as the heat and flames had wounded Bust severely, when the flames receded and Howitzer was cool enough to crawl through, Bust emerged a desecrated teenager. He took apart Howitzer for replacement parts, and he scavenged through dumps and other people’s workshops, stealing if he had to, to recreate himself. He was still human, but he had inserted metal plates and slight boosters all over his body, whether on top or underneath his skin. He looked like Frankenstein’s Monster all deformed, so he wrapped bandages around his whole body, ashamed of his appearance and inability to make himself as beautiful as his robots. One of his eyes was completely destroyed, while the other was rendered almost completely blind. So he replaced them both with Howitzer’s own, swapping in the robot eye with his destroyed one and grafting Howitzer’s special scoping screen over his practically blind one. He also detached Howitzer’s cannon, and he replaced the material with a special metal he was saving. It was an extremely rare and extremely tough alloy, but he didn’t use it for his body because it had the ability to grow and shrink. This was a safety issue that could kill him if it was in his body. Armed now with his bot Howitzer, L.L Bust decided to leave Mechanus and became a bounty hunter, attracted to the smell of gunpowder and the prospect of demolition.
L.L smoked on his cigarette, the hot to
bacco glowed red in the twilight as ashes fell off and smoke floated up. His scope screen beeped and he pulled out a syringe, injecting the supplements into his shoulder. He looked down the hills and at the small town, his money was there. There was supposed to be a bandit who lived there with his crew, and they would frequent the bar on most nights, so he had a high chance of getting them now. He tapped his scope screen and activated the heart beat tracker. There was one dude on the porch, 6 downstairs, and two in a room upstairs. He unchained Blunderbuss and cradled it in his hands. He shrunk the cannon to a simple pistol and slid down the hill, making his way to the village. He checked his charge, it was set to simple bullets, but he popped it out and replaced it with the buckshot charge, he was feeling bored. He walked up to the man smoking on the patio, “Are you part of Python’s crew?” His scope screen picked up a diamondback tattoo on the man’s forearm, “Never mind, freeze if you don’t want your head splattered against the wall.” The bandit went for his gun and Bust pulled the trigger. A loud bang resounded and the man’s brain splattered against the wall, his face caved in and shredded by the multiple small metal bullets. A man ran out and Bust enlarged his gun back to its original size. The man fired his revolver and Bust put his cannon in-between the two of them. He popped open his reload bay and swapped charges with the missile charge. With a snap he pointed it at the man and the rocket hit him like a battering ram. It tore through the body and smashed into the bar, releasing a great explosion. All that was left of the man was anything that was below his kneecaps, blood and gore splattered the torn timbers. Bust slung Blunderbuss over his armored shoulder and walked in through the wreckage. Women laid around screaming and booze mixed with the blood of the wounded or dead. He poked around with his foot, checking for someone with the rumored bite mark and tail tattoo but couldn’t find anyone. A survivor coughed and looked at Bust.
“Do you know what the hell you just did?” He coughed, blood splattering his clothes.
“I tore down a bar with the members of a small gang in it.” Bust answered.
“Small? That may have been true a month ago, but we own this town now, everyone is a Snake now.” Bust sighed, he really needed to get a new contact. Gunfire brought him back to the present and he quickly dove for cover, reloading with his bullet charge. His breathing quickened as adrenaline pumped through him, the smell of gunpowder and death reminded of him the reason he had joined bounty hunting. A bullet hit him in the temple but didn’t puncture thanks to his armored beanie. The
