I have to agree with Nish. I was considering putting a deadline for each turn. Now is the time for this.

IGC: Rule #10: You get two days to take your turn from the time the turn cycle is updated before I freeze your mech and we move on without you. While frozen for any other reason than having been banned you will earn no morale. If you are frozen for more than three days and do not return to the mission, you will be removed and placed in the Reserves.

Devour said it a long time ago but I'll just paraphrase it again in some form: This thread is not a Game Thread. It's more like a beta-in-progress. Perhaps it had a chance to shine in the past but now it is just a jumbled mess of wtf with IGC spam up the wazoo. Waiting for other players, my ass. If your game was designed well to begin with, maybe it wouldn't have such a terribad waiting/spamming system. Or you know, actually work. Or you know, actually play right. Maybe Nish could've actually took this pile of shit seriously and made it more awesome than it already is. Or maybe your thread wouldn't have bloated into a spam-fest just because certain mechanics have yet to be implemented or explained. So, instead of liberally applying infractions everywhere for the time wasted spamming this thread with uselessness, I've decided to just cut the knot as I am still vacationing. I'm probably the only mod who is able to read this monstrocity anyway to understand what exactly is the malfunction here anyways >_>


As of this point, I don't care if there is a game in progress. I don't care if people like it. I'm binning it. Wither, Grimm, and anyone else hosting this better not make another "alright alright this will work this time" game thread or I will ban you for spam. My god it's been 30+ pages and nobody barring the people who have followed this game from the start understand how your shitty thing works. Yes, thing. Because it's not a game, my friends. It's an abomination.


What I want you people to do is to sit down, grab a sheet of paper, grab some of your favorite books and movies and anime, grab your internet by the balls, and concentrate on making a perfectly doable game with a respectable theme. Not complicated. Not fiendishly lazily simple. Not obviously-beta. Not retarded. And not requiring of a dependence of an in-game chat.

Then, keep that idea to yourselves until you think you are ready. Because you will only get ONE chance. If your next game-that-isn't-beta sucks, then expect consequences.

Now let this shitty thread die once and for all.
