For my final project in my school drafting class I decided to make the crescent rose from RWBY.
I've spent about 3 days working on this (I'm very new to the software).
Here's what I have so far.

I'm quite proud of this considering that it's my first work in AutoCAD.
I'm still working on the handle and I'm planning on coloring and/or adding textures later.

AutoCAD isn't that hard. I'm not sure about the newer versions (my class used a very old version), but I feel like you would be able to do a whole lot more with 3DSMax, instead of AutoCAD. I don't remember being able to do much with vertexes or anything like that with AutoCAD.

It's not that bad. It looks like you made this thing out of boxes lol.

i agree, 3ds max is the best but if you want something for free you could also use blender since you need to pay for 3ds

The reason I used AutoCAD is because we were required to. This was for a school project and the class was in AutoCAD.

Yeah I'm not saying you should've done whatever differently. I'm just saying you should be building a house or a floorplan lol. Nah, AutoCAD is neat. Some kid built a tank for our senior project using AutoCAD.
