Since I couldn't find an ideas section, I decided to post my idea here.

- The Epiphany -
So I was looking through the RHG character section and thinking that something was missing. Something like... randomization. Now, I grew up with Pokemon Sapphire, and I always loved how no matter which pokemon you got, you could always convert it into a fighting machine. 1 max health? make it fast. Terrible moveset? it evolves into gyarados (unless it's unown). Thinking back to the good old days gave me an idea: Why not have a tournament (or series of) using a (somewhat) similar idea, like RHG with random characters?

- Rules (not set in stone!) -
Either the moderators, or some other higher power create a character per participating animator, or each animator creates one. The completed characters are then taken in and checked for over/underpowering, and a random number generator pairs each animator with a character. Animators are then pitted against each other using similar battle rules to RHG, and the winner is decided based on how accurately the animator portrayed the character, and the animation itself. Winners then battle other winners while losers... chill out? I need some help to refine this idea... anyway, the tournament ends when only one person is left in the winners section. Or something.

- Conclusion -
What do you think of this idea? Got any suggestions you'd like me to add? Is something lie this already implemented? Should there be a writers' version? Is this thread in the wrong forum? POST BELOW! :D

The idea is good, though the problem would be to find a way to start it, since tournaments, projects and such need a lot of effort to fulfill (unless someone famous and/or with money decides to take it up, thus giving partecipants motivation)
Try to send a message to people that have some collabs already done, they might help. Though, the amount of effort needed may discourage people (an RHG tournament is not only long, but also difficult to end, since people must constantly animate)
