Took me about two and a half hours... I used a mouse since I don't have a tablet and it is slow... please rate it. These are two characters from a comic I am working on... will take a very long time to be done since I am the only one making it.

Before you do anything else, please get rid of that red background. It's really ugly and distracting if the background attracts more attention than the foreground art.

I agree with Charry. The red in the background is way off. You used soft colors in the foreground. The sudden introduction of a bold red isn't easy on the human eyes. Read up on color theory or search for videos on Youtube on color theory. They'll explain how to choose colors for a picture carefully.

Ok stop, sit down, and learn to draw. This looks like a mess man, the character designs aren't shit but they aren't all that spectacular either. This looks really bad and before you go and make a whole comic looking like this you still need to know how to drawwwwwww. The coloring is too all over the place, you obviously don't know how layering works and that in itself is an ordeal, before you tackle that you should know how to draaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwww. Both characters look deformed, the head are different sizes, your lines are shaky as fuck.

Pick up the book "Fun with a Pencil" by andrew loomis, and his other books. Go over that a couple times then watch Proko and Sycra on youtube. Then AFTER you have an understanding of how anything works, go to CrtPaint.com for help with digital painting.

Take Mizu's advice and practice your drawing skills before executing your comic. You can write out the scripts and make drafts, but if you release it with art like this no one is going to take it seriously. Harsh but true :/
