Battle For Aegiris

After 300 years of conflict, the God Wars have ended, leaving the citizens of Aegiris scattered and divided. Those who remained sought to rebuild their once peaceful and prosperous civilization. But a select few did not. The Signio Federation have hated the Aegirian Alliance for hundreds of years. They were the main two causes of the God Wars, and their feud started the Dark Age. But the game had changed. The Aegirian Alliance was finally weakened. The Signios could end the century-long war! But as their ships docked on the coast, they found sword and shield waiting for them. The Aegirians were not going down without a fight.

Aegirians: Fight Back The Signio Federation.
Signio: Destroy The Aegirian Alliance.

Basics: -The object of this game is for your team to kill all opposing characters.
-This game uses an RNG (Random Number Generator) combat system. Very simple.
-Gamemasters CAN participate, but are not gods.
-PLEASE no trolling the game. Only sign up if you are going to take it seriously.
-You have 3 warnings. Upon your fourth, you are permabanned from the game.
-Each team will have an even amount of GM's on their side.
-If your team wins a round, each player is awarded 500 GP.
-Overall, have fun and play fair. :)

Combat: This game has extremely simple combat mechanics:

2,4,6,8: Hit Opponent.

3,5,7,9: Miss Opponent.

1: Light Hit (Half Damage).

10: Critical Hit (Double Damage).

Gamemasters control the RNG. If anyone is caught cheating when it comes to battle, you lose your three strikes and are instantly kicked from the game. Each character has 1000 HP. Characters can only have one weapon EQUIPTED at a time. Each kill awards 300 GP.

Ugh, so many fricking Forum games :| Whatever, I'm in. Hopefully i can help improve this. For now, i'll sit back and see what kind of developments you have in mind.

Name:Turquoise/Toby
Age: 21
Race:Elven
Class:Warrior

Backstory: Toby was born during 290 G.W(God Wars). Having been born during times of trouble, he witnessed many deaths. His parents would try to make him have friends so he wouldn't be so glum. He and his parents lived in a sort of isolated place. People would come there to heal, and escape, from the Wars. Everybody knew everybody there, and they lived in peace for a few years.(but that all changed when the fire nation attacked) But they were discovered by the Aegirians. Any who tried to run were cut down. The area was close to a river, so Toby's parents put him inside a large barrel and put him in the river, much to his dislike. Eventually, his mother and father were found and killed, even though they tried to put up a fight. He wanted revenge. He searched for signs of Signi(ans?) to ally with. He found a training camp of the Signians and he wanted to join. He was young, but he was agile and smart. Being the Elven he was, he was faster than most humans and could wield a heavy sword with ease.By the time he was 20, he had become a skilled and experienced warrior. Now, it was his time for revenge.

Allegiance:Signio Federation

Starter Weapon: Bow
Personality(should also be an option): Kind hearted, cool, calm and collected. Is kind to his friends and shows a happy demeanor, but will destroy the enemy at all costs, especially if it means protecting his comrades.

I guess that's it.

I agree with Turquoise. Can you create a backstory for the game so that we can use parts in our character backgrounds?

As long as I am not required to participate, I can help GM for the game and brainstorm with you for new content and help answer questions brought forth by the readers

I think we're starting to have too many forum games. Usually because it's a polite thing to do, I wait until others have completed their games before running mine. Plus this is basically a knock-off of Wither's game, as well as the Empire games too. There's no point in repeating the same kind of game over and over.

Also, why would you post this if the game isn't finished yet? Just do the entire thing at once. As it is, you have the same problem as Wither and I have no idea how someone would play this.

Didn't say I was joining. Just that I would help with management. Since he at least has some mechanics for combat, I believe the game has potential. But it needs a lot of TLC.

Wither had absolutely no mechanics whatsoever. Scorch at least has a number system that is simple but effective. While I personally prefer a skill-based system, this should work fairly well for now. He lacks a backstory for the game, but that is a fixable issue. Now then, he does need to have some base damage values for starter weapons, and define the hitpoints of a normal character.

BTW: while you guys were posting about needing a backstory, I added one. It could be a mistake on my part, but I posted it before it was completed because I wanted other people to view it and tell me what it was missing. As your doing now.

EDIT: It may look like Wither's game now, but that's because I have lots more to add. Its a very broad game. And the real difference? Wither's you had to PM him your moves and had no real combat mechanics. In this game, everyone can attack and move in a matter of minutes.

The weapons you see are the starter wepons. I will add upgrades soon. like tonite or tomorrow.

Let's not worry about upgrades right now. Wait until people have had some time to get used to playing it before you add those in.
And you should scale down the damage/health numbers. Base damage would be something like 5-10, and health be anywhere from 30 to 70 as the game progresses. Costs should be divided by ten, as well as gold rewards. We should work wiith small numbers, because 300 damage is over the top for all but the most powerful weapons. In fact, the damage bonuses for each class should also be a one-digit number.

You see, this is what I really don't understand and apparently what Wither doesn't as well. You cannot slap on a half-assed attempt at whatever and say that you'll be updating it as the game goes on. Incomplete modules = Incomplete Game. Why can't you people just wait, bide your time, and take your turn honing your craft instead of releasing these broken pieces of shit, much less these CLONED broken pieces of shit. Whatever happened to common courtesy as Devour has mentioned. I had to wait over a month and a half before I released anything because so many shit was happening. Devour conversely wouldn't run anything if I was hosting something. It seems that everyone wants a piece of the forum game fame that seems to have gripped you noobs as of late.

Unfortunately I had also warned against this kind of thread in the past. Yes, I did say you should make your own game if you think you can with your RNG whatever. But, I also said that the reproduction of "alright alright this will work this time" games are not allowed. Face it: you, Wither, Grimm, turq, whoever else who has joined this insanity since the beginning does not have what it takes to host yet.

So stop it, really. This is getting embarrassing.
