Ok maybe the SP intro is yours and he copied it but im pretty sure that he didnt intend to stole anything, when watching the animation you instantly realize that the scene is the intro and i found it an enjoyable idea.

But what the hell is the Levi scene complain for?? that's absurd man.....

ok some people are missing the point of this, i DO NOT care that he referenced off my intro, like at all. Seriously. I'm more concerned about the Titan scene with Levi.

MY POINT is that the BEST parts of the animation (in my opinion) were scenes he animated, that weren't even his original ideas.

EDIT: AND WON a competition with a CASH prize.

Technically its copyright infringement right? He can be sued since it was made for a profit. You can copy the shit out of everything else as long as its just for fun and not as a means to gain profit or monetary value.

He won cash because of the animation not because of that scene -_-

Plagiarism isn't some insignificant thing, it's kind of a big deal,
and even if it is only one scene, it's pretty much the best scene in the animation, and it's not his work, also, 'just one scene' contributes to the animation as a whole and the overall impression people walk away from the animation with, so you can't just write it off as unimportant that he pretty much blatantly stole another animators work and used it to make profit

anyways that's true the scene is the best and it contributes to all the anim but there's a whole animation there that you ignore.

Also, based on your statements, I don't really think you understand what the issue is here, it's not that he made money, or that he got first place in intermediate, it's the fact that he made money and got first place in intermediate while ripping off someone else's work and trying to play it off as his own

I never rotoscoped anything in my life, at first i didnt even knew what rotorscoped meant untill someone pointed it out in the forums of dojo animates (The 360° Rotation Challenge)
here i even give you the file so you can take a look yourself, and no i did not deleted or added anything to the file last minute to prove myself right here take a look at my library screenshot and look at the date of last edited (last time i touched it) even tho the scene appears in the last part of the animation, it was sketched long before the actual part, if that even is a conspiracy...

it is a recreation of that scene, and the merenary even goes through his eye instead of leaving his sword behind and bailing out
it might be a "copy" of the scene but i still worked my ass of to make it look as good as possible (with my skill) and there is no copyright of that scene especially since the character used are not even from that series, and yes there is a giant rocky colossus in the game and yes the lightsaber guy has a attack that lets him dash foreward and spin like sonic, and yes i watched that scene of levi vs annie over and over to get the angles right, but i did not rotorscoped it

hmmmm, but what you are also saying is that i cannot animate the stickpage intro (where the 2 stick run at eachother) into the animation? since that is a thing that have been done in GTL 1 - resistance fall of stick
i kinda placed those 2 things in the same category, so if im not allowed to animate a aot scene, then im not allowd to animate the stickpage intro scene right?
also its not that the aot scene is completly out of nowhere, since the lightsaber guy can spin and dash as a ability

I would like to hear a opinion on this from one of the judges especialy since there might be more GTL's / Competitions to come and to prevent confusion.

also the period i sketched the aot scene was also the same time i ever watched aot because i never wanted to wacht it because of time and stuff, but i finally found some time to watch it,
was fan of it and found the levi scene the most epic one of them all, it was never my intention to upset anyone by making a refference towards it,
the reason i never credited it in the credits is becasue i thought that everybody would get the refference, and the inspirations where a bit obvious 1 was from risk of rain itself (duuuh) and 2 those who knew the series already know what scene it was,
i dont have time to look up copyright stuff and what not, i was just animating it for fun and skill expanding and i was really proud of myself that i could pull the attack on titan scene off
but let it be clear, that i did indeed copy'd/ recreated the aot scene, but i never rotorscoped it
