I'm curious, how do we get another rock hard gladiator tournament started up in here? How come there isn't one, and what prohibits it from being started now?

Okay first of all, I'd like to know: What kind of RHGT tournament do you mean? Is it the Public Service Announcement events (PSA in short, this thread is the latest of the ongoing event) which is hosted by Arch-Angel atm, or a real tournament that might take the same concept about Regular Clan War with resource stealing capability (which is a clan vs. clan thingy and the winner takes it all)?

Maybe it's just me but I have some sort of multi perceptions while reading on several threads regarding to RHGT as well as thinking of possible tournaments, and also remembering a quote about "someone has to try on hosting one to make the whole RHGT concept more understandable", yet I'm not so sure either. Perhaps discussing it with current active chancellors (with yellow color at their username) or Arch-Angel as the main PSA host is recommended before starting one, as well as keeping yourself understand about the whole RHGT regular concepts on RHGT section.

If you're talking about having one like the tourney in FA back in the day, it's mostly due to lack of interest, demanding set-up and hosting, and just a bad track record. There has been two official RHG tournaments in the past and neither one had even come close to finishing. Not surprised though considering that most people can't even finish battles they start. It'd be wishful thinking to assume all of them would be able to cooperate for a huge tournament.

If you wanted to start one, I'd mostly recommend starting one yourself since there isn't going to be an official one for quite some time, if not ever in the future.

While I am not important here, as I could niether organise nor be included in an RHGT, I'd really like for this thread to be given more attention from the ones that actually could make something like this happen... I just wanted to say that.

Perhaps if you (yes, you Jazzon, or anyone else) are interested to organize one, they could still gain some helps for those who understands the RHGT concept more, like the chancellors or Arch-Angel. Hell, even a teamwork between the host and the participants may be able to make the event goes smoother e.g. the Q&A section existence for the tournament preparation/main concept like probably that FA tourney.

What I'm saying is, a single interest on making an RHGT tournament would do the thing, as long as it fulfills the regular RHGT requirements. Although there are things I'd like to point out:
1. The Regional ID Card file has been being corrupted due to the Fileize Cleanup several months ago. Imo it could be remade with the existing submitted regional cards format on Chancellor's Corner thread.
2. The ongoing Public Service Announcement events takes some time for several clans to be done which made them pulled themselves out of the whole RHGT. Means that it might need some proper updates to make the event more interesting than before e.g. the bonus rewards system with cool weapons, extra resources, point system (possibly), etc. Arch-Angel is doing a really great job for organizing the PSA, yet I think he still needs more assistance (lhis latest post was on July 6th on that "PSA UPDATE INBOUND" thread if people noticed it).

I do give concerns that RHGT section needs more love. But at this very moment, Stone is having some plans on future StickPage competitions (not sure if whether or not RHGT events were included) and he held another livestream events weeks ago. So if people are interested enough to do this, shooting him a message on IRC is recommended instead of PMing him to get a quicker response. Or as Raptor said, just start the freaking tournament and wishing everyone to be able to participate on the event at the same time.
