Having it per min instead of one each 11 seconds is also quite flexible for when you need to double post but then don't post after. Still, maybe members could have it restricted to 8 messages per min or something to stop members spamming hugely. Even if they are going to get (chat/)banned it's still annoying for everyone while they do it.

I agree that members should have more benefits than non-members but letting them chat unlimited is no different from inviting them to spam whenever they want, which is pretty much not a good idea. It also creates separation between members and non-members. My point is, members' privilege to chat should be limited down to about 8-10 comments per minute. That way it could both solve the spamming case and remove the unfairness to the non-members.

Those that paid for the game are probably not gonna risk getting banned for spamming. If they do, they get banned same as anyone else would. The same rules apply to everyone.

on another note, love the new live replays. It makes it so much easier to watch boosters carry on like nobody can see!

Not all members are just good enough. Some are really spammers. So giving them the unlimited permission is just not fair, make him/her kick out of the chat automatically if they post at speed of 5 msgs per 3-4 sec. It can be implemented for everybody. Will be fair.
