NAME: Fox Thanatos
SEX: All male
NATIONALITY: Australian Aboriginal
APPEARANCE: Brown skinned, black haired man in a wheelchair with decent musculature. Possesses a MANly beard.
PERSONALITY: The very definition of battle-hardened veteran, Fox is a cold, calculating and incredibly inspiring leader. Rising swiftly through the ranks as a sniper in a Terran colonization army, he realised that his true calling was being a tactician. His only objective in life is to lead a crew to fame and fortune. A formidable warrior in his younger days, a military attack (of which he was the sole survivor) left him crippled and wheelchair-bound. Except for his unparalleled aim with a gun, he can no longer fight but has honed his tactics and instincts to such a level where he always avoid direct combat and seeks the support of his loyal comrades to physically protect him. However his mind remains as sharp as always and his experience in dealing with people has left him unparalleled in the arts of inspiration, leadership and seduction.

Main Stats:
Perception: 10
Endurance: 5
Charisma: 10
Intelligence: 5
Agility: 0

Poseidon's Voyage is a good name.

Its a terrible name. The game is called VOYAGER and we have a ship named VOYAGE? No Thanks. Also, lets not have TWO words for one name please.

I'll join this stuff. This looks really freakin' cool. I just have to leave in 10 minutes so I'll create my character when I get back.

Call this ship the Wicked Harpoon... for reasons ;)

If you want to have more positions for whatever reason, I'm sure that a competent combat/travelling vessel would at least include a Co-Pilot to handle things if the original has to leave the ship for diplomacy/other general badassery reasons, a Communication's Operator to hail other ships and also work the ship's sensors, computers, and hack into other electronic systems. Those are both pretty big.

And on the grounds that the book I'm writing is all about a space pirate captain going on a wild adventure, I'd like co-pilot if that becomes a slot :) Or comm's officer. Otherwise I'll just slip into Engineer, though I'd also like to be a Medic on the off chance that it becomes decided to have more than one. So basically it's all up to you, dude.

It was only a suggestion. Also Cook, I sent you a detailed story via PM and I think you should follow that exactly. No deviations. I'll send you a new name for the game too. And I will assign backstories for all the other characters. In fact, Cook, I'll run the game, you be the backup medic.

I like how there's only 1 medic. SO in the event this medic dies, the crew is pretty much fucked up XD

I'll be the medic.

Anyways, is INT a part of what makes the medic function so smoothly? Because I notice you only mentioned stuff only the Engineers tinker with. If it isn't INT then what is the Medic's base stat?

My bad, dude. Yes, your medical ability is influenced by your intelligence, as well as perception.

Your perception will allow you to see the gravity of the wounds of your enemies as an actual number, so you can strategize that. Your medical skill is influenced by INT.

The First Mate was kind of the co-pilot.

Engineer encompasses all the Comm/repair duties and shit

You wanted the game renamed "Allah Akhbar's Adventures", correct?

Damn, you people are going really heavy into Intelligence. Sure, it helps you with your job, but most of this game is about dealing with other people. If you wish, there's nothing stopping you from going INT heavy, just keep in mind that when dealing with other people, Perception and especially Charisma are extremely important.

And who has a 10 in BOTH without even being told this?

Go back and change it, you slumdog millionaire. We're not even finished with the sign-ups.

Oh shit, nevermind. Good job nish, proud of you.

I don't know why people always go super heavy into Intelligence on online games. Just like real life, it's good to be smart, but it's not really practical.

Dude I made a 10 in both from the very beginning. I knew perception and charisma were going to be the most important.

What is it with you and wheelchair-bound characters, shit.

I'll give this a few hours and then check to see if we can start this shit.

The original one in Hewitt's game wasn't just wheelchair bound, he was totally fucking paralyzed. This guy is more balanced. :p

Aw man! May I join? How many Cosmonauts are needed? And the name of the ship: Gungnir. Fitting name for a spear that everyone rides on, AKA: Nish's dick.
