yeah nothing major, i just want to know whats wrong really. i can open fla (flash) files by opening flash 8 and choosing "open" from the file menu. but if i try to double click an fla file, or right click and click open with flash 8, it comes up with a message saying the file could not be found. like one said this:

"C:\Documents and Settings\Jay\Documents\Flash\fla files\best.fla" cannot be found. please try searching your local hard drive(s) for this file.

right click, and goto "open with", then select the program and check "always use this program to open this type of file" If that question is available to you. Else, check for any sub or hidden folders witch may contain this file. you should also try searching for the file under its name"best", under "Files And Folders", check for ANY duplicates of the file.
