Did you just animate a blob moving up, then take ball size chunks out of it? because that's what it looked like.
Awful smoke, undetailed dull Bg, the grey rocket thing looked bland, the spring thing wasn't fast enough......
practice more.

Even though your critique wasn't very encouraging, I'm glad you commented as I really believe you are a fabulous animator. About the smoke no, I redraw it in every frame and then take out ball sized chunks out of it. As for the rest, I'll accept it and continue practising.
