So, a few things
I think the stepping sounds were a bit repetitive, and it started to annoy me at some point, that and even though I know raiden runs a lot in the game, he can also dash and in general doesn't always move at the same speed, so the running forward portions of the animation seemed long and unnecessary, and overall took away from the action that was supposed to be going on.
Also, about the action, everything happens so cut and dry that I'm not sure if I should call it action, I dunno, just for me personally, nothing had any flare or umph to it, everything that happened just sorta "happens" if you know what I mean, and I kinda finished the animation still expecting some sort of big action scene, even though that was supposed to be the big action scene.
I did like the overall look and feel of the thing though, the aesthetics were really nice, along with the effects and everything was fairly well animated but still, I just wasn't feeling it

Man I wish it was longer! The little meticulous details are what I really like, and the cinematic feel you gave was also plus.

wow nice graphics, how did you even graphic that??? the art style feels so finished, but i kinda agree with drone, when i saw the big cyborg thingy i was expecting a similair sort of expirience as in te game (Rules of Nature)
also kinda short, but i can imagine the time going towards graphics wich is an A+

Thanks guys. And yeah, I too agree that sequence of scenes is bad or could have been better. I was planning to make it longer but since I animate so slow and started late, I didn't get the time to do more and had to cut it short. So I guess I just focused more on the graphics since the "story" is already messed up anyways.
I'm sorry that it's short and surely if I do finish an entry for the new competition, it will also be short. So don't expect too much :P

Also, to FL-Nordin. I didn't just use flash, explains why this is only available in video format.
I used Sony Vegas to edit it and add sounds and all those jazz.

I think the reason the running motions felt kind of sluggish is because you spaced the run loop too little. The run loop was really smooth but it didn't look like he was launching himself on the ground like you do when you run.

That being said I loved this so much. The angles, effects, cinematics and overall aesthetics of the entire animation was great. I also wish there was a little more umph after he slices the giant robot thing in half at the very end, maybe an explosion or something like the micwizard gigadrill bit, but other than that it was fantastic. Great job Reb!

oh also the stickpage logo was stretched out vertically which kinda looked funny
