That was not the case at all. If notthebest felt our skill difference was to great he could have simply declined the challenge.

There are many factors that can affect someone's decision whether to accept or not, not just the difference in experience/skill. Maybe he actually doesn't care about whether or not he wins, rather he just wanted to animate. Maybe he wanted a challenge. Maybe he wants a reputation of not turning down a challenge. Maybe maybe maybe...

Besides, that's just what I think. Someone just had to address the elephant in the room. I'm pretty sure most of the people who read that you were the challenger of this fight was thinking the same.

Well honestly I was on skype with Mimic when he was looking for an opponent. We were discussing that and since Treyloch's demo looked really good, we thought it would be a balanced fight. Btw Mimic just looked for a fine opponent, not an easy win... Well at least I didn't feel it that way when we talked on skype.

By the way just a simple advice for you notthebest : if you want to create faces, cinematics effects and angles, don't use one layer for that kind of stuff. You should put more work on the faces and expressions, just like you did on your profile picture which is really cool ! On this animation, Treyloch looked like a creepy but cute creature instead of an electric zombie, I don't think you really thought about that when drawing the face.

Don't worry man, just remember that the action is the most important thing in an RHG battle

For next time mimic, try to be more careful about who you challenge, make sure they're closer to your skill level than this
Blowout victories like this aren't fun for anybody, especially when it's this clear from the start who the victor is
