@Gaading, I already discussed this on a previous post. One of the reasons why I don't want to run all of this at once is because I find forum games and comps to be a novelty and the rapid exploitation of these events just cheapens the entire experience. Not to mention, the sheer amount of work and manpower you'd have to pull to run all those games consecutively. I am your man for this, but I would rather do it alone at the very least to prevent heartache and lag time between people.

Also, having all the games in rotation would mean potentially decreased participants. They'd just end up entering the ones they know they can win in.

Right, my bad. I remember reading that.

Rap competition plz, spit those nubs out of the air to get total SP rap domenation
RHG tournament is too much effort for cards, and a speed battle is too less effort (work it gurl)
so do domething that is fun to look back at, something uniqe,*cough* rap battle*cough*
or a photo shop competition, and edit the shit out of a picture found in the picture thread, always fun to look back at i figured

Gaaading I need details on how an online CAH is to be conducted. And would you be willing to host it?

Well I believe I can set up a sign up thread, pm the room link to the contestants so I can kick stragglers who randomly join. It would have to be 10 at a time though because that is the max a game can hold.
Plus we would need to schedule a time frame the would work for the majority of the contestants.

you could always just set a password to the room and include the password in the pm with the link.

I didn't know they had a password setup. That makes things so much easier.

What about fliptop? Rap is so old, why not fliptop

Dafuq's fliptop you ask? Basically it's like rap, but it's used as a battle between rappers/fliptoppers, and the lyrics' ON STAGE. No, you kinda dont prepare it. Slow fliptop. It's like, burning each other with rap and trashtalking (kinda, but slight), yo

Consists of three rounds (six turns). Both players should be able to rebut. So each round, itll be like Round1A and B, Round2 A and B, and Round3 A and B. There should be at least two-three judges. If both or all judges finds them as a tie, then they'll be taking overtime. It's exceeding to another round just to make the judges see whos better who.

Sorry if Im late about saying this, tho. Just realized this thread was still up.

I fully support CaH. But I seriously have no idea and my timezone is not exactly the best around here. So can someone else volunteer to set that up? Can you do it Gaaading? I mean, if SP can schedule a webcam party, they can do this right?

Anyways, I've got another idea but we don't have to do it too I just want an opinion:

It's called the MPC - Most Powerful Character. Users will create a completely Original Character based on a sheet given and after being screened for OP-Ness will undergo a poll-style tournament not unlike RHG/wRHGs, but there will be no written battles. Instead, the only thing you have going for you is the character's bio. It's a debate game, basically.

There are 2 winners in this. 1 is the guy who's character makes it to the top. the 2nd will be the one who can successfully guess who the most winners of each round were before the tourney began. Sort of like an Oracle Challenge.

Another variation can be for actual Fictional Characters. I just don't know which one is more fun for you guys.

Thoughts?

I'm all for the character creation contest. And I'm somewhat against the CaH because of the same reason as yours: freaking. Timezone.

I am not sure if I am the best one to set this up. I am in Mississippi which is central time and after work, eating, and bathing I usually don't get on my computer till around 8+. So unless everyone can be on somewhere in my time frame of 8pm-12am-ish, I am not too sure.

Cards of humanity wouldn't really work that well, would it? Unless someone creates a special program for it.
I'm voting for the Rhythm Game Tournament, because I love osu!.
