Primary Ability: Database Access - Being one of the workers in the profile databases, she gets the privilege to look at the profiles of other gladiators. She knows their strengths, weaknesses and other recorded information about them. While knowing everything about her opponent is a definite advantage, it is up to her to make the most of it. Her worst case scenario would be in a simple arena against ordinary people who rely on wits and training.
Other Notable Attributes:
- Analytic - Years spent viewing gladiator performances have given her amazing analyzing skills. She is keen to recognize details from her opponent and she makes precise estimates from her observations. However, her guesswork could backfire on her and she still needs time to weed out unnecessary information.
- Staff Support - She can request for assistance from her office such as extra equipment, manpower or additional information. Because of her low position in the corporate food chain, she can't really ask for anything big unless the situation is dire enough. So far she's allowed advice, some equipment and maybe the tactical help of her good friend Roselle. At least a medical team is on standby, they'll move in once the match is over. If she wants improved rewards then she must work for it.
Items and Equipment:
- Cavalry Saber - A sword she bought online similar to what cavalry officers use. The scabbard comes with a belt she wears around her waist. She chose it because she considered it to be a balance between a rapier and a broadsword; and it is not an overused cliche sword like a katana or a zweihander. (Yes, she went there.)
- Radio Brooch - A simple form of communication between her and the wRHG staff. It is a two-way radio in the shape of a simple shield she wears on her chest. It's rather audible and opponents may overhear the transmissions. It also has a tracking chip that locates her with GPS.
- Pocket Notebook - A small, green notebook containing the summaries of prominent figures in the wRHG. She stores the various field notes she jots down in it.
- Astronaut Pen - Her expensive and custom-made symbol of excellence, it is encased in carbon steel. It can write in extreme environments like the vacuum of space and it is sturdy enough to be used as a last-resort weapon.
- Opponent Dossier (Optional) - A folder containing information about her opponent. She may or may not actually bring this to battle.
Weaknesses:
- Office Worker - She is ill-suited to the stress of battle, it makes her jittery and dampens her thinking skills. Keep in mind that she is a civilian, not a soldier. At least she files paperwork like a premier secretary.
- No Combat Aptitude - Her job transition was too immediate and she had no time to train, resulting in her minimal fighting experience. Spectating over a hundred fights doesn't count since she's incapable of imitating even a quarter of the moves shown. She will have to learn from her own battles if she wants to improve.
- Scope and Limitation - She is limited by what is shown in the gladiator profiles themselves; the more details are hidden, the less of an advantage she can gain from it. Alternatively, the profile could be so unnecessarily convoluted that she will be forced to slow down as she figures out which details actually matter.
- Outside Variables - She is more vulnerable when caught ill-prepared like being ambushed out of nowhere.
Appearance: Tabitha looks like your typical office lady with a lithe build and slightly pale complexion. She has straight brown hair reaching to her waist, her bangs are neatly combed with one side held with a couple of hair clips. Her face usually carries a look of insecurity with her pale blue eyes. She wears the typical corporate attire with two notable additions: A shield-shaped brooch on her chest, hanging on the collar of her coat; and a pair of men's formal shoes for easier movement.
Personality: She's diligent but hassled with her new job, she would rather deal with heavy paperwork and bad wRHG applications. She treats her battles with a business mindset, as if her fights are another part of her schedule. She frequently talks and negotiates with her opponent, hoping to mitigate the intensity of battle. She's also very humble, she never hesitates to admit mistakes and is always willing to surrender when properly defeated. If the situation turns sour for her, she starts getting desperate and aims to end the battle quickly even if it results in her loss.
