History:
Round 1A
Round 1B
A New Round has BEGUN! Round 2A
Round 2B
Quarterfinals
Final Round
Bonus Round for Third Place

Intro
Hi guys, would you like an opportunity to share some of your favorite music AND get some nifty prizes as well? Come on down.

How do I win?
This competition is really simple: Each one of you will nominate a multi-song playlist from an OST of your choice. Every round, the two OST's will do battle based on the song for that particular entry. Tournament-voting style, not unlike Smile's Hottest Babe contest. The winner is the guy who comes out on top and the prize shall be a buncha STEAM KEYS. The Runners-Up will also be awarded with a weaker set of keys.

Note: I'll list the prizes later

Mechanics
First up, here's the sign-up sheet:

Name of OST
1) Song 1
2) Song 2
3) Song 3
4) Song 4
5) Song 5

You are only allowed 5 choices of songs from that particular OST. Rounds will go something like this:

Round 1: Uncharted OST Song 1 vs Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) OST Song 1 ---> Then Uncharted wins

Round 2: Uncharted OST Song 2 vs Le Miserables Song 2 --> Then Uncharted still wins

Round 3: Uncharted OST Song 3 vs Little Mermaid OST Song 3
...and so on.

The implications are obvious now; the songs are only as good as the rounds that they will participate in. They're your bullets basically, and are considered 'used' once a round is over. So, a wise strategy would be to nominate a playlist that would have a "weak song" (but strong enough to finish the round) first before the competition gets tough later on. Or maybe you'll wanna put the "strong song" out first just to get ahead in the competition.

The first 2 rounds will have the same set of opponents and will be done, Round Robin style. After which, the one with the less votals will be eliminated, and from the 3rd Round onwards, it will be your traditional tournament style elimination.

So, as to how many you can actually nominate...because I am not sure how many are entering, I will allow everyone to nominate at least TWO lists of their choice. If we have alot, I will randomly select one dupe playlist, but as much as possible I would like to keep it at 1 playlist per person.

Common Q&A

What is defined as an acceptable OST entry?
Well for the sake of this competition, it is pretty much any of the following:
- Soundtrack from a Musical or Movie
- Soundtrack from an Anime
- Soundtrack from a Videogame

You are allowed any of the above, as long as they are all from a single source. Like say, if you wanted to enter Meat Boy OST in the competition, all the songs must come from Meat Boy.

Are remixes allowed?
No. Not even if they are from the same "album".
***Clarification, I'm not disallowing Original Remixes. I'm disallowing Remixes from an OST composed of remixes.

What if the song is a cover of another actual song but it played in that movie/show/game? Is that allowed?
No. Because that's not an OST, that's just a cover. You must only pick songs from which the source was originally the source.

Can I link a song that isn't a youtube link? Like, can it be a soundcloud or even a downloadable mp3 file?
Yes. As long as someone can access it it to listen to it, it is fine.

There's this really cool song but I can't link it from anywhere, but it's really familiar for everyone or the majority. Is it a viable entry?
No. No song, no entry.

What if my OST only has a few good songs and lots of crappy ones. Can I only put less than 5 songs in my entry? Can I merge with another OST to make a hybrid playlist?
No. And that is part of the challenge. Think about it: your opponents might also have to gamble on a weak song of their own.

I see that someone has already picked X. Can I pick the same OST but with different songs?
You can...as long as EVERY song is different from the other guy's. If you can't fulfill that condition, then it's first come first serve.

Misc. FAQ
Quote from Drone
If I wanted to use ost from something like Ghost in a Shell, would I have to choose a specific season or movie or could I just use the ghost in a shell ost as a whole?

You're referring to amongst these things, right? Well, to remain fair for everyone else, I would ask that you are only restricted to a specific season or movie. I'm probably also going to disallow the inclusion of two OSTs from the same source in the same competition as well. That would be like nominating 10 songs from the same show/thing (its all composed by the same guy).

I mean, you can nominate 2 GiaS playlists, but I will only be forced to choose 1 if I am ever going to choose 2.

So, if anyone has anymore questions. Feel Free to ask. Other than that, nominate away!

Although. About the seasons...I mean it's all one show right? So I might actually allow a playlist from different seasons of teh same show.
I pass the question to all the other competitors: Is it fair for Drone to nominate this way?

EDIT: Nevermind. Drone has accepted the terms.

Btw, as it is, I am running with the proposed semi-round robin/tourney style format. But if we have too few or too much users, that structure is subject to change into either a full-blown Round Robin or a full-blown Bracket Style.

I kind of want to do Wind Waker since that game has so many amazing songs, but I want to choose an album that isn't as well known for the sake of both the challenge and exposure.

I probably won't give any tonight, so I'll update by tomorrow or something.

Just to clarify on the no-remix rule, I'm only disallowing remixes that are unofficial.

Like if Meat Boy actually had a remix in its OST, that is fine. But if there was a Meat Boy remix in an OST filled with other remixes from different games, then that's not allowed.

This might be a stupid question, but is it safe to assume that when characters in non-musicals break into a song that'd count in their original sound track? Or would that not because the episode revolves around it in a way?

Such as Stewie and Brian's duets in Family Guy for example.

If they released an ost for whatever it is you're talking about and them breaking out into song is on it as it's own individual track then it's ost
