Seeing all this talk about scores, I'd like to point out that there up to the judges personal rating method so variation is inevitable (some people will never give out a 10 for example). So long as the judge scores everyone the same way (averagely high or low) then it will still be fair. Stuff like this has been around since version 3. There's just a lot more people drawing attention to it now.

I think overall judge's scores shouldn't be changed. You're saying that you don't agree with someone onion when they were the ones who were asked to give out their truthful onions in the first place.

I really only came because of that big scary announcement Jeff made.

I understand that each judges are different, but a breakdown of the scores might show where the judges really differ.

EDIT: Wait. No. I just went to the front page and saw that the judges just rate an animation 1-10. Like, no separate scores for creativity, wow factor, stuff like that? If so, then nvm the breakdown lololol

Yeah I can't make a breakdown like that Smile. Thinking it twice you're right about the scores, is just that at this point some of you scare me a lot. You all have taken it as if the high variations of scores have happened only for this version which is not true, I just think that some people is just trying to look what else "is screwed/messed up" so they can smaah it in my face.

So be it, I'll let the scores like that. Once again I repeat that even tho the Judges criteria variates from each judge, most of them took into consideration 2 things: Quality of the combo, Creativity at performing the combo. If you watch through each anim most of the low scores will start to make sense.

Also this is why we have 3 judges and not 1, these kind of variations are normal.

I finished compiling ALL the round scores hours ago but didn't have some time to put them into IMG format a.k.a. taking the screenshot, and post it here. So I'll link you all the Excel link instead since I can still open my Dropbox and am on the phone at the moment:



I know it has been said many times by others from the last pages, but congrats again for the round winners and the overall winners as well, and kudos for the 10 Rounds Survivors too (Pyro you still rock, no worries~)!! Your hard works are really worth it.

Actually I just want to suggest to make a list of this BSE's evaluation about whether certain things could be improved for the next BSE if it still decides to exist, and of course I'm not gonna say that without an example. I've made several points of them on the 3rd sheet of that Excel file. Come check it if you're interested, those points are still welcome towards revising too. Might try to edit some of the points for potential addition on that list.

Ugh... I guess I can do the CnC one last time, tho it'll have to be later in the week, my arm is killing me and I just can type on my phone because I just need one hand lol.

Also Musti, I know exactly what to improove from this BSE, I don't need a list to remember all the things that could've been done, I'll just have all 10 rounds already planned and done along with the judges, some nice decoration, probably talk with some admin to ACTUALLY have some prizes this time, and an easier way to show the overall scores per round.

I can actually make a small programm for it, I already learnt how to work with graphic interfaces so I can pretty much make a program to calculate all the averages in html code to save a lot of time. The only thing hat could take more time than exoected are the judges but if they're taking too much time I can just replace it wih another one lol.

Nordin, I'll see what can I do about that, I'll talk with stone or jeff and see what can we do about that.
