Quote from GrimUhhh no lol. It's gotta be mailed in to the states. If that weren't the case every westaboo in Japan would be sending in votes for "Trump-san" regardless of citizenship.
As long as you're an American citizen, you can vote from anywhere as long as you have access to an embassy.

Excuse you.

Errrr no. Like I said, it's mail or nothing. Trust me, I looked into this extensively before leaving America.

The two are not mutually exclusive. You CAN vote from anywhere as long as you are an American citizen have access to an embassy, but it needs to be mailed through the embassy. But just because it's a postage doesn't exclude you from the voting process, it enables it, so I don't understand why the fact that it has to be mailed prevent you from voting. Trust me, I actually voted using this procedure in the same hemisphere as you, so the fact that you can't vote just because you live overseas is false and just doesn't make any sense.
In fact, there's a section to the left in the link you provided that literally tells you that you can be an absentee voter. I'm really confused in what you're trying to imply here.

I'm well aware that I can be an absentee voter, hence me saying "I looked into this extensively before leaving America". Also, I never said that I was "excluded from the voting process" because it's a postage, I was sarcastically saying that I can't afford to vote because of the postage price, but I wasn't planning on voting in this election at all. I thought the sarcasm was pretty obvious given the ridiculously low price I gave. The reason I responded to you the way I did was because the way you worded it made it sound as though you were saying that I can just walk up to the U.S. Embassy and cast my vote in a booth or something.

I understood that was sarcasm, this quote much less so.

Your initial joke flew through me just fine, it was this post that confused me, especially when you said "regardless of citizenship."

Ohhhhh ok. I suppose I did word it a little strangely. I was saying that if there were voting booths instead of a mail-in system, that a bunch of Japanese people would probably try to vote for Trump despite them not even being American citizens.

And here I am on my fat ass in Canada unable to see why Bernie sold out to Hillary
Nov 7, 2016 2:50 PM #1466162
Sold out to Hillary? What are you talking about?
If you're referring to his endorsement then what the actual fuck, how are you unable to figure this out? What was he supposed to do, run third party, divide the democrat party and split the vote? All that would accomplish is 4 years of President Trump.
He said from the beginning that he was not going to run third party. He is a lifelong politician and he plays the game according to the rules that are in place, he's not going to ideologically sabotage the election in the republicans' favor and it blows my mind that anyone who calls themselves a Sanders supporter would honestly expect him to do that.

I guess Trump would definitely win a fair three way race, you're right.
