Any piece should be able to kill any piece. If you think something shouldn't kill something else, you're limiting yourself. I use my king offensively, for example.

Is it bad for me to expect the queen to comboing the shit out of the pawns?

The pawn is easily one of the strongest pieces in the entire board.

Especially late game.

I've been doing Chess for years, and I can honestly say that there are very few "bad" ways to play. Some might be better than others, but a lot depends upon your opponent.

I generally use the same opening moves every time (turning myself into a tank while pushing forward enough to pressure my opponent), and then go from there.

Chess has several times more possible outcomes than there are atoms in the universe. So, yeah. Keep your mind open.

I mean in early games, it's more like just sacrifical piece for me, especially when there are like 8 of them.

But it is also true that it is the most strategic plays relying how well you place your pawns in late game to utilize it well.

anyone likes my sign :p
I made it myself and that unit is animated too :D

I feel it's too jerky and wobbly, its best not to touch the characters foot if they're doing something that isn't going to move it much or at all, and is really big for signature standards.
Also, what exactly is he meant to be doing?

pawns are beast. i played a game with a friend where we were close to a stalemate - i was at a disadvantage with nothing but pawns and one knight, but my friend only had a few pieces left also. i used my knight to take out his pawns until he separated his units to take the knight out, then i bunched up my king with a cluster of pawns on the other side of the board and escorted them to the other side of the board. got two queens and won lol

I'm pretty sure any one who posts on a stick figure animation forum can be classified as a nerd.

It's okay man, it's just a prank (creepin) bro. There's two hidden cameras behind you, you were on a prank show this whole time. Once you log on to Stickpage, two drones will appear behind your back and start filming you right away to put you on the prank show.
