CoD4 is better, in my opinion. But, WaW is, sadly, more popular. I find CoD4 lags a lot more.

CoD4 is like your perfectly average FPS. It uses a very simple formula, nothing fancy, yet does it exceedingly well. However, I find it gets boring after a while. The guns, visuals, and maps are very stock and basic. Nothing unique at all.

I actually felt CoD4 was quite unique when I first bought it. It was all perfect. The knifing, the shooting, the hiding.
The perks. The gun customization.
It was brilliant. I could play it for hours. Now, I get bored after about 3 games.
