AP physics sounds like a bitch, but maybe that's just because in my physics class we do way too many assignments out of this shitty textbook that don't teach (or really reinforce) much.

I've gotten 3s on european history and us history, and a 4 on spanish last year. Can't say I expect anything better than a 3 on comp gov and anything better than a 2 on calculus ab, unfortunately

how would the number grades translate into letter grades (is 4 the best or what? I don't know the grading system).

Well so, in my physics class we don't do anything.

The teacher gives us a list of chapters to read and tells us to do some problems.

She shows us one video for every chapter we read and lectures once for every unit. She gives us several labs per unit.

But she doesn't teach. I swear to God if she would give me worksheets I would understand physics so well, but teaching myself out of a crappy text book is such a pain in the ass.

After spending week after week after week studying for 6-10 hours on the weekend just to stay caught up in the book and get low B's on the tests (with cheating with my friends) I gave up.

Now I'm counting on cheating with my friends to pass the class. D:

I'm such a loser.

And the only reason I'm taking the AP test is because I signed up for it when I was confident I could pass it. Then realized a day too late to get my money back that there was no way in hell I could pass it.

2 = Some colleges will accept this as satisfactory
3 = Most colleges will accept this as satisfactory
4 = Pretty much all colleges will sex you
5 = You will get free blowjobs from colleges

The chance of a reputable college accepting a 2 as credit is pretty damn slim, I'd say. I've already been accepted to a few schools though, so since I realize they won't be giving me any credit for these tests because I won't do amazing, I've sort of given up hope and am just taking them because I might as well at this point.

Also because if I didn't take the ap calc exam, my teacher would make me take one that he made for a grade in the class, and if I had to do that I'd definitely end up failing

My teacher's have described it as "possibly qualified" though I've always considered 3 to be the low end of the pool.

2=Straight C's
3=Straight B's
4=Straight A's

I thought it was the same thing :s.

GPA system.
I figured that was the same for how they where grading my test's when I lived in Washington. (Basically if I scored a 4 it was an A etc etc.)

nothing, really I didn't do jack shit all year. its entirely my fault and I accept it. I'm doing a thing where I leave for 2 years and when I return everything would be reset and it's like I wasn't even there. hopefully by then I gain some sort of responsibility. :D

oh, that's rough. At least you've got a shot at going back though, are you just going to get a job or something in the meantime?
