Thanks for the sarcasm, but I was already installing the new drivers. My question was why installing the new SP removed them.

Sometimes things like Drivers get left behind in the partitions because they arent part of the old SP. Sometimes they are in seperate folders or hard to find, and the SP flips it the finger and ****s off.

It sucks because I wasted so much time trying to install the driver when I needed sound to do my school project which is due tomorrow
