If you do an upgrade install, all your programs stay. I just did this on Thursday and I can guarantee results.

and the programs are compatible the same?

This does not work, as I boot it up from the CD-Rom drive, and then it takes be to the XP Installation shit, and then it does it's thing, and then it says "Starting up Windows XP" then BSOD. I assume after it does that, is when it starts the formating part for you. But I can't reach it. Last I checked I downloaded every single XP Driver I could available, as the others need to be downloaded once the operating system is installed.
Quote from KitsuneI got the same when my laptop fell off a chair.
can't help.
I know you're going through patchy computer times but can you possibly clear something up for me?
1. I'd like to get windows 7.
2. I have a windows vista 64bit. Flash cs3 installed.
3. Can't get another flash cs3.
4. I install the OS onto this computer by means of purchase to download to installing an exe file or something.
5. Does flash cs3 stay installed in an old windows program files folder?
When I installed Windows 7 Eternity on this (which I hate and this is why I'm trying to downgrade to XP) I checked my x86 Program files and all of them were there, I only checked one folder to see if I had my DAEMON tools and it was there, so I assume it'd be the same for you, just move the file to the Windows folder of WINDOWS7 and then put it in the program files. I think that should do it.
EDIT: I think I'm gonna shrink my C:/ Drive for Vista's partition, and make it so the CD-Rom will install XP into D:/ Drive partition, then I'll format Vista's partition and attempt to move XP to my C:/ drive.

Okay, thanks a ton!

Yup. Unfortunately, I've decided to use DBAN (For all of you that don't know, it will run from my CD and completely rape my laptop's C:/Drive and any other drive it can get it's hands on for any data, and will erase it with it's white cock of erasing. lol)
Um. Wish me luck.
EDIT: DBAN has finished burning. I shall use it with all my might and hopefully reign victorious. If not - I'll have my Vista Reinstallation disc by the end of the weekend ^.^ Wish me luck guys. I hope I don't **** shit up.

You seem like you need to chill out a bit.

That's like the third bonehead post by Razr in less than 2 hours. Sorry if I seem to have lost my cool a bit.
I am taking deep breaths and listening to the calming sounds of my AC. It's all good homie.

had the best night last night, in celebration of my birthday last saturday
started off the night with a joint with a whole gram packed in to it between four of us, i had the most of it and that was pretty great. rest of the people were due to show up later for a drinking binge, so we went and bought burgers and then had a beer each followed by some shots of tequila, complete with salt and lime (i had 5 at the time)
met up with the other guys who were coming (who had been at another party earlier), who, to our great amusement, stole three bottles of cabernet merlot from a liquor store before we all ran down the street laughing our asses off. then proceeded to a park and had more tequila (i had another 4 shots), then headed to a different park and had more beers
then we bumped in to another party consisting of people we knew, stuck around and drank merlot with them for a while, but they eventually had to leave
but then we bumped in to a third party, who stuck around until the end of the night with us, we had a great time
i am still drunk, though, and it's 5:50 pm the day after
irritatingly enough i had to get some minor surgery done on my toe this morning and the anaesthetic seems to have brought back the effects of everything
but **** i'm gonna go make some music now

I don't find this picture very funny but I'll be damned if that isn't the sexiest looking camera I have ever seen.
Also. I just transcribed the tale of Beowulf to the fresh prince of bel-air themesong. I am a terrible stereotype.
