I had a skateboard but all I really did with it was try to paint some cool designs n' shit on it and use it to luge down hills since my neighboorhood was a rather hilly one. The one time I did stand going down the hills I ate shit, nearly lost the board to a big truck and to this day I have the scar plain as day.
