Uncle: Dont dip your pen in company ink.
Me: Company ink isnt what i intend to dip my pen into.

Okay, so if if there's this thing that flies up in the air- a small thing, with string attached to it so that it only hovers to a certain height, and if I attach the strings to something to measure the force it is pulling with... what would that something be? What would I use to measure the pulling force? I can't use one of those long string scales, because it needs to be flat on the ground like a push scale. I was thinking that I could turn a scale upside down, attach sticks to the underside, and then tie the strings to those sticks, and then it'd be pulling 'downward' on the scale— but then I can't see the fucking measurement. I can't buy a 300 dollar thing either. I'm kind of freaking the fuck out because I need to have this experiment done like... after this weekend is over...

What if I use a normal scale and then attach the sticks to it (ending in the middle and sticking out), and then the strings connecting the craft to the sticks are on the very edge of the sticks... so when it lifts off and pulls one side of the stick up, the other side of the sticks will push down the opposite way like a teeter totter but in reverse. And it'll push down on the scale, and that will tell the measurement of the pulling force. But does that even make any fucking sense? Would it be accurate?

Have someone hold the scale on its side while you do it and read the measurement.

No one can be touching shit because it's in an enclosed plexiglass box full of gas and high voltage electricity is shooting through shit.

Ugh, the forum got reset back to it's 2010 database save, which was apparently the last one, so you are just gonna have to deal with it.
