Nearly 7 years since I've registered on StickPage forums. Nearly 8 since I've discovered StickPage. Every time I happen to come on this place again I think to myself, "goddamn, I've grown and changed so much since I first started coming here". I never tell anyone though, because everyone IRL that knew I went to this site has long forgotten about my old hobby. I never tell you guys because it's pretty meaningless.

But wow. Almost 7 years. People came and left, amateurs became "pros", a few guys even died, and some come by here every now and then like I do just to have a glance.

I haven't animated in so long, but I still feel like jotting down ideas whenever something cool runs through my mind.

I feel the same way, except I can't justify my irritation with it in my head. I hate seeing pony avatars and signatures everywhere, but when I think about it, they're just vanity items on a forum. I would do the same with shit I liked. If I made a kick-ass TARDIS signature, I would proudly display it. It's not hurting anyone. I think it bothers me because there's so much of it everywhere, and every ponyfag I've met has this smug self-assurance about themselves. I still feel weird hating the shit people put in their signatures about the show, but as long as they're not taking every opportunity to talk about MLP, especially on an unrelated website, then I guess all I should do is ignore it the best I can.

i go for the pony avatar, but that's pretty much the same as having whatever anime shit index has as an avatar or johnny cash as douchingtons avatar, i don't put the pony shit in anyones face as far as i remember so far

I think it's just the knee-jerk reaction to a bunch of 20-something guys collectively identifying themselves by an odd obsession with a TV show that's targeted towards young girls.

That said I love Adventure Time, so maybe it's a decent show. I've never watched it. It's still a little weird
