I didn't actually see Douchington's final post (in What makes you angry?) until after I decided I supported his ban. I'm really not sure what to think of it... because I'm not sure how serious he was being. It actually sounded a little like he was joking or exaggerating on purpose, or even being sarcastic. Assuming that was entirely serious, I still dunno what to think...

And it's not like the "12 infractions!" thing was the big decider. More like the fact that he is the biggest shitposter and earner of infractions on the entire forum (excluding maybe walksmanknight) who didn't seem to be shaping up at all (aside from that chilling final post)

so the cutoff for a permanent ban is more of misbehaving more than anyone else on the forum, rather than misbehaving 12 times

permabans are literally the biggest punishment we can give out to members. all I'm saying is a warning beforehand should be expected. I'm talking to GD now and he says he doesn't remember zed warning him.. but, I believe it happened.

that's because he made it immediately afterwards and announced himself. if he just waited like a week and then didn't say "I'm General Douchington" and eased into frequent posting with well-constructed and nice posts, I seriously doubt anyone would IP check and/or ban him if he said who he was after everyone was already used to him being back. I know that's against the rules, but I'm a frequent multi-accounter/ban evader myself so fuck it, I'm not that much of a hypocrite. Losing a high-stats account is a big punishment anyways.
