No, I'm on the 360. It's mostly the driving, as you said. But really, it shouldn't feel this ****ing horrible to drive in this "10/10" game. You can't ****ing brake without spinning out, you can't even drive through ****ing 5 inch tress. The aiming while driving is just... what where they ****ing thinking? Add the horrible AI of the fellow drivers into the mix, which constantly ****ing scream at you even WHEN you're driving normally, and the fact that you can fly out the windshield if you run into a stray dust-bunny, and the driving makes for a really frustrating-****ing-time. The aiming is shitty, too. You can't expect to manually hit someone, and when you actually lock on to them, which is actually really ****ing annoying to do, they just wait behind cover and blind-shoot you for 30 ****ing seconds at a time.
